Courses and workshops

Learn the work, from first techniques to specialist skills

Active IQ sports massage diplomas, plus shorter workshops on nutrition, running technique, cupping and taping.

Level 3 and 4 diploma, taken together

Combining the Active IQ diplomas moves you from first principles to a therapist who can plan care. Level 3 builds massage technique, anatomy and assessment. Level 4 adds advanced methods, pre-diagnosed injury and treatment planning, including biomechanics, common dysfunction and sport-specific stretch, trigger points and myofascial release.

There is no formal entry hurdle beyond the wish to learn. Assessment includes observed client care. Bring an A4 folder, dividers, wallets, highlighters and paper. The route continues into specialist massage training and fitness instructing.

Level 3 diploma

The Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy is the start: maintenance massage, common tissue problems, client assessment, musculoskeletal anatomy and clear communication.

Level 4 certificate

Level 4 widens the scope: more complex dysfunction, pre-diagnosed injuries, advanced techniques and a stronger grasp of sports science and rehabilitation.

Shorter workshops

Nutrition

Practical fuelling for people who train, recover or simply want meals that match the week. Pairs naturally with the clinic’s nutritional analysis.

Running technique and injury prevention

A workshop view of stride, posture and the habits that turn a small niggle into a missed block of training.

Cupping and taping

Myofascial dry cupping and kinesiology taping for therapists who want those tools in the treatment room, taught to the same standard as the massage diplomas.
